Arrive Yangon by morning/ midday flight. Welcome and transfer to your hotel( official check-in 14:00).Brake at your hotel until afternoon sightseeing starts. Walking tour is conducted in midst of city center viewing Yangon Heritage buildings, people in different walks of life. Visit the Chaukhtatgyi - the colossal reclining Buddha, the dazzling Shwedagon Pagoda observing lively sacred activities and merit makers.
Pack your breakfast box. Early morning flight to Mandalay, the last capital of Myanmar kingdom founded in 1857AD.From airport to city centre drives almost an hour. En-route visit Amarapura, the former capital before Mandalay. U Bein wooden bridge( 1.2 km) built over 160 years is a renowned common relaxation site. Maha gandayon the largest Buddhist learning centre. Mahamuni Buddha Image believed to be cast in front of Buddha himself and nowadays richly bejeweled and thickly gilded; gold leaf hammering, marble carving, and tapestry making. Afternoon sightseeing includes Shwenandaw monastery – still existing masterpiece of last Myanmar kingdom's architecture in teak and wood carving; Kuthodaw Pagoda – renowned as the world's largest book and UNESCO’s heritage site. End the day at Mandalay Hill, regarded a natural watch tower in the plain region of Mandalay – to view the sunset. Overnight at Mandalay.
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Inwa(1364-1840 AD) also a former Royal capital of Myanmar located at the confluence of the Ayeyarwaddy river and Myitnge river. After crossing the Myitnge river by small boat, take a horse-carriage along the bumpy road to visit the ruins of the old royal capital includes the watch tower, the 27 meter tall leaning tower of old royal palace; Mahaaungmyebonzan monastery, the impressive brick and stucco monastery; Bargaya monastery – a splendid teak wood monastery with wood curving.
Afternoon tour to Mingun village- we would take an hour boat ride up river to reach Mingun, located at the other side of the Ayeyarwaddy river in the north of Mandalay. The boat ride is always pleasant as one can learn the ways of local life along the river. Sightseeing to Pathodawgyi – believed to be one of the largest brick base in the world and it would be one of the wonders of the world in case if it was completed; Mingun bell – said to be world's biggest un-cracked and ringing bell and Myatheindan pagoda represents for Buddhist cosmology. Overnight at Mandalay.
Mandalay – Bagan jetty 129 nautical miles / Mandalay to Bagan down river
Carrier vessels – RV Shwekeinnery, RV MGRG and RV Malikha are plying between Mandalay and Bagan.
Depart – 07:00 , Estimate arrival to Nyaung U Jetty 16:00
Enjoy and relax along mighty Ayeyarwaddy river. View the villages at distance, fishing boats, drifting rafts and agricultural fields. Arrive by late afternoon to Nyaung U Jetty that is at just above of old Bagan. Transfer to your hotel.
Alternative access by private car
Generally between mid March to mid October, River vessel services are available in limited days or in some months have totally not. Transportation by private car shall be met to original purpose of visit in fairly. Small group up to 6 people need to pay some additional cost.
Breakfast at your hotel. Bagan(11-13 CAD), one of Asia's most popular archaeological destinations and one out of two most pre-eminent religious old cities in South East Asia. Commence the day at a high temple where can see the panorama of Bagan. Sulamani temple was maintained by UNESCO as the stuccos and mural painting are still in good and precious. Gubyaukgyi Temple( Myingaba village) – the 12th century 'cave temple' with fine frescoes of Jataka scenes; Anada Temple,one of the masterpieces surviving and remaining in Bagan and considered to be in the Mon architecture style. A visit to the lacquer ware factory followed by a visit to local village.
Upon arrival Yangon, take to famous shopping center Bogyoke Market( close Mon and Gazette holidays), where you can have varieties of goods ranging from handicrafts to clothing and local food/ snack. Continue walk to the Chinatown area, a bustle point (If time permits). Transfer to the airport for the departure flight. Depart Yangon.

Pyin Oo Lwin ( Day return trip from Mandalay)
Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Pyin Oo Lwin, 65km north east of Mandalay is a famous hill station and summer resort. The road to Pyin Oo Lwin winds up the hill and there are may hairpin bends along the way. View point at 21 miles one can have a bird’s-eye view of Mandalay in the distance below. Visit central market and clock tower. Botanical garden abundant with different kinds of flowers, shrubs, plants, beautiful lawns, huge trees providing shades. A Chinese temple (Joss-house) is worth to visit. The Pwegauk waterfall is full of scenic idylls for a picnic or an excursion. Return to Mandalay in the evening.
After breakfast, morning visit bustling Nyaung U market. The ruined and scattered temples near Minanthu area is a worth exploration for its man-made grotto, frescos and tranquil ambiance. Lawkananda stupa sits by shore of Ayeyarwaddy river is a favourite spot for local pilgrimage. After noon proceed to Shwesigon ceti considered as a holiest one. Htilominlo is one of the elegant temple still in good its stuccos. Have a bird’s eye view of Bagan by a different corner. Cool down your day at a forest monastery and Myingabar village. Overnight in Bagan.
