Chaung Tha Beach







Chaung Thar Beach is located 40 km to the west of Pathein (Bassein) in Ayeyarwaddy Division. It is about 5 hrs drive from Yangon to Chaung Thar Beach. It is an attractive wide beach with a muddy delta look. Not only coconut palms but also casuarinas trees can be found at the back of the beach. Two small islands can be seen offshore. The crab dishes of Chaung Thar Beach are also delicious and well-known. Chaung Tha Beach can be reached during all seasons. Fresh coconut juice will make relax here.

Ngwe Saung Beach







Ngwe Saung Beach is second best beach in Myanmar, located in the Ayeyarwady Division. There is no flight directly from Yangon to Ngwe Saung Beach. But last year Air Bagan fly to Pathein airport and it takes one hours to go there by car . You can go to the bird's net island with fishing boat and snorkeling around the island. Some prefer to go fishing from the lover island as they don't need to pay for the boat to go. You can also go to the other beach called Chaungtha Beach with either motorbike or boat. It takes one and half hour boat ride or two hours by motor bike. Going by motorbike is fun but you need to wait for the ferry to cross the river. After you cross three small rivers you will reach Chaungtha Beach. Many hotels in Ngwe Saung beach are very good and expensive.

Ngapali beach







It is famous for its natural and unspotted beauty up to this day. The beach stretches about 3 km with soft white sand fringed by coconut palms. Ngapali Beach is one of the loveliest places in Myanmar. Ngapali Beach is located 7 kilometers from Thandwe in Rakhine State of Myanmar. It is the most famous and wonderful beach of the country and annually draws thousands of tourists coming to relax. There are many things you can do here. You can go line fishing or snorkeling on fishing boats, join in the specialist game fishing boats, play a game of 9-hole golf at the nearby Ngapali Golf course, maybe competing with the local golfers. If you want a private exploration, let go out on an early mornings bicycle tour around the surrounding villages, morning markets or along the entire Ngapali beach, sampling the local way of life.
