Day 01 Arrival Yangon ( by morning/ midday flight ) ( - / - / - )

Arrive Yangon by morning/ midday flight. Welcome and transfer to your hotel(official check-in 14:00). Brake at your hotel until afternoon sightseeing starts. Walking tour is conducted in midst of city center viewing Yangon Heritage buildings, people in different walks of life. Visit the Chaukhtatgyi - the colossal reclining Buddha, the dazzling Shwedagon Pagoda observing lively sacred activities and merit makers.

Day 02 Yangon- Mandalay(flight Etd 06:30/ 1:25 hr by ATR / 00:55 hr
by Air Bus ) ( B / - / - )

Pack your breakfast box. Early morning flight to Mandalay, the last capital of Myanmar kingdom founded in 1857AD. From airport to city centre drives almost an hour. En-route visit Amarapura, the former capital before Mandalay. U Bein wooden bridge( 1.2 km) built over 160 years is a renowned common relaxation site. Maha gandayon the largest Buddhist learning centre. Mahamuni Buddha Image believed to be cast in front of Buddha himself and nowadays richly bejeweled and thickly gilded; gold leaf hammering, marble carving, and tapestry making. Afternoon sightseeing includes Shwenandaw monastery – still existing masterpiece of last Myanmar kingdom's architecture in teak and wood carving; Kuthodaw Pagoda – renowned as the world's largest book and UNESCO’s heritage site. End the day at Mandalay Hill, regarded a natural watch tower in the plain region of Mandalay – to view the sunset. Overnight at Mandalay.

Day 03 Inwa old city and Mingun village ( B / - / - )

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Inwa(1364-1840 AD) also a former Royal capital of Myanmar located at the confluence of the Ayeyarwaddy river and Myitnge river. After crossing the Myitnge river by small boat, take a horse-carriage along the bumpy road to visit the ruins of the old royal capital includes the watch tower, the 27 meter tall leaning tower of old royal palace; Mahaaungmyebonzan monastery, the impressive brick and stucco monastery; Bargaya monastery – a splendid teak wood monastery with wood curving.

Afternoon tour to Mingun village- we would take an hour boat ride up river to reach Mingun, located at the other side of the Ayeyarwaddy river in the north of Mandalay. The boat ride is always pleasant as one can learn the ways of local life along the river. Sightseeing to Pathodawgyi – believed to be one of the largest brick base in the world and it would be one of the wonders of the world in case if it was completed; Mingun bell – said to be world's biggest un-cracked and ringing bell and Myatheindan pagoda represents for Buddhist cosmology. Overnight at Mandalay.

Day 04 Mandalay – Sagaing hill – Monywa( 3:30 hrs by car) ( B / - / - )

After breakfast, head to your journey to Monywa, a commercial hub of arid zone produces; varieties of beans as well as import-export gateway to India. En-route visit Sagaing hill and Kaunghmudaw elegant dome shaped stupa. 13 km before Monywa, we would stop at Thanbodday Pagoda – a unique Buddhist temple housed with 512,028 Buddha images. Visit one thousand Bodhi trees complex where you will see the elegant standing, sitting and reclining Buddha statues. Upper terrace from Alantaya stupa is a perfect pivot to view the entire complex. Before to your hotel, excursion walk down the strand road would ease, relax and tell you the lives Anyar( upper) land Monywa. Overnight at Monywa.

Day 05 Monywa – Pakoku( 3:30 hr by car)/Pakoku to Bagan by private

After breakfast head to your journey to Poe Win hill a unique archaeological site. Archaeologist took measured that the works were conducted some 700 years ago after Bagan was dissembled. Sculpted works from rocky mountain comprising with 790 caves contain 3633 Buddha statues, grottos and mural paintings dating from 17th and 18th centuries. Proceed drive (2:30 hours) across dry plain to Pakokku, another medium town of Anyar land could observe Ahnyar people, culture and product. On the way, try snack made of palm fruit at a village near Yesagyo. Break for lunch at Pakoku. Amaze world finest handicraft wood sculpture, Shwegu backdrop crafted in 1906. Observe small industries – slippers, papier-mâché. Thihoshin pagoda is the main temple of Pakoku. Cool down the Ayeyarwaddy River for Bagan. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Bagan.

Day 06 Bagan Fullday sightseeing ( B / - / - )

Breakfast at your hotel. Bagan, one of Asia's most popular archaeological destinations and one out of two most pre-eminent religious old cities in South East Asia. Commence the day at a high temple where can see the panorama of Bagan. Sulamani temple was maintained by UNESCO as the stuccos and mural painting are still in good and precious. Gubyaukgyi Temple( Myingaba village) – the 12th century 'cave temple' with fine frescoes of Jataka scenes; Anada Temple,one of the masterpieces surviving and remaining in Bagan and considered to be in the Mon architecture style. A visit to the lacquer ware factory followed by a visit to local village.

Day 07 Mt popa ( B / - / - )

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Mt. Popa - an extinct volcano at 65km south east of Bagan in the plain region of middle Myanmar and as the one of National parks in Myanmar with preserved forest. It serves as a small oasis in the hot, dry plain of Myanmar. The popularity of Mt. Popa today lies in the interest of religious and mystical beliefs as an abode of “Nat” spirits. Climb the Taungkalat, the volcanic lava pumped out but freezed before eruption. On the way back to Bagan we would visit the food-stuff industry produce from toddy palm tree. Back to Bagan. Leisure or your optional activities – E-bike cycling, horse-cart riding. Overnight at Bagan.

Day 08 Bagan – Heho flight Etd 08:00 / 00:40 hr by ATR – Visit Inle lake ( B / - / - )

Upon arrival Heho airport, 50 min drive to Nyaung Shwe, the gate way to Inle lake. Inle lake exists 960 meters above the sea level and the home land of Inthar tribe. Visit the regional rotating market place held in every fifth day around the lake if today coincides with the market day. Phaungdawoo Pagoda, famous for its richly gilded five small Buddha images and its history. Ngaphechaung monastery (known as jumping cat monastery for trained jumping cats), over 160 years old monastery with its collection of ancient artifacts. Other attractions include unique leg-rowing style and fishing method of the Innthar; floating gardens and vegetable plantations; weaving factory and black smith. Overnight at Inle Lake.

Day 09 Visit Indein ( B / - / - )

Breakfast at the hotel. Board on the boat to the south-west by a small twist and turn creek running into the lake. We would reach the Indein village, a small village located at the south western bank of the lake famous for its ruined clusters of pagodas dated back to 16th century. The tranquility, peaceful ambience and ruins overgrown among bushes would bring you to centuries back. In the late afternoon, if time permits, walk or take a bicycle to go about Nyaung Shwe and beyond.

Day 06 Heho – Yangon ( flight Etd 10:00 / 1:10 hr by ATR) /
Yangon – Onward departure PMflight ( B / - / - )

Upon arrival Yangon, take to famous shopping center Bogyoke Market( close Mon and Gazette holidays), where you can have varieties of goods ranging from handicrafts to clothing and local food/ snack. Continue walk to the Chinatown area, a bustle point (If time permits). Transfer to the airport for the departure flight. Depart Yangon.

Pyin Oo Lwin ( Day return trip from Mandalay)
Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Pyin Oo Lwin, 65km north east of Mandalay is a famous hill station and summer resort. The road to Pyin Oo Lwin winds up the hill and there are may hairpin bends along the way. View point at 21 miles one can have a bird’s-eye view of Mandalay in the distance below. Visit central market and clock tower. Botanical garden abundant with different kinds of flowers, shrubs, plants, beautiful lawns, huge trees providing shades. A Chinese temple (Joss-house) is worth to visit. The Pwegauk waterfall is full of scenic idylls for a picnic or an excursion. Return to Mandalay in the evening. 

Bagan one more day ( B / - / - )

After breakfast, morning visit bustling Nyaung U market. The ruined and scattered temples near Minanthu area is a worth exploration for its man-made grotto, frescos and tranquil ambiance. Lawkananda stupa sits by shore of Ayeyarwaddy river is a favourite spot for local pilgrimage. After noon proceed to Shwesigon ceti considered as a holiest one. Htilominlo is one of the elegant temple still in good its stuccos. Have a bird’s eye view of Bagan by a different corner. Cool down your day at a forest monastery and Myingabar village. Overnight in Bagan.

Pinday & Kalaw ( Heho airport – Pindaya&Kalaw) ( B / - / - )

Arrive Heho airport by morning flight and proceed to Pindaya(1295 m above sea) by car for an hour by Heho- Bawsai road. Visit Pindaya Cave with over 8000 Buddha Statues, local umbrella making cottages and Boat-ta-loke lake. Lunch at Pindaya and continue to Kalaw. Kalaw is a beautiful hill station surrounded by mountains. Kalaw lies 1315 meters above sea level. Palaung tribes with colourful costumes can be seen at Kalaw market. Visit Shweumin natural cave, taking along the up-down meandering roads of Kalaw . Have the town’s view and villas set amidst in pine wood. Overnight in Kalaw.

Trekking outside Kalaw ( B / - / - )

  1. Half day trekking to Peinnebin village ( Estimate 4 hrs) Peinnebin village located at north of Kalaw. Transfer from your hotel to Myinka village from where your trek starts. The approach to Peinnebin must follow slightly up trace until to village. Vast scenery of vegetation come to your sight looks like artistic painting. Silver Palaung tribe make home at Peinnebin village. Trek down by other side. Trekking guide service @ US$ xx per head (Min 2 pax)
  2. One day trekking to Taryaw village ( Estimate 8 hrs) Taryaw village located at south-west of Kalaw. The trek follows slightly ups and down mountain range. Terrace plantations, pine forest, natural wooded areas must be crossed until you reach to Taryaw village where Palaung tribe make home.   3. 1Night/2-Day trekking to Indein( south-west of Inle lake) From Kalaw, you will be carried by a car to the village where your trek starts. Myinmahti cave is worth seeing for its natural formation of stalactite and stalagmite. Continue your trek until you reach the home stay village. You will be put up at a monastery or at a house. Proceed trek to Indein village from there you will be taken by boat to Inle lake or Nyaung Shwe. Trekking guide service & meals @ US$ xx per head (Min 2 pax)
